This is a wonderful city for tourists in New York. The city is located on Lake Ontario. Because of being close to Ontario lake and Genesee River, the city has got lots of beauty that mesmerize visitors. There are many places to visit in Rochester for the first time visitor, but some places are extremely important and hold huge cultural, historical significance. The city has an ample number of museums, science center, parks to give you splendid time here. I am listing some of the places that I like most in Rochester and want every visitor to see.
I am not from Rochester and therefore, when I came here to spend my vacation, I was clueless about famous spots here. I took the help of locals and guide, but in all that I wasted many hours. So, if you are planning a vacation in this city, learn from my experience and make sure you have these places in your to-do list.
Ontario Beach Park
The beach park has too much to offer and if you want to enjoy everything present on this beach, then plan to spend the whole day here. I also did so; I rented one shelter here and spent the whole day. In just 1$ at the beach, you get so many things to have fun.
Cobb’s Hill Park
This is one the best spot in Rochester to capture glimpses of sunset. The park has everything that usual parks use to have, except the amazing view of downtown buildings and some amazing people.
This is a waterfall present on the Genesee River. It is amazing to capture the view of this fall.
Corbett’s Glen Nature Park
The park is full of birds and animals and you will have a really nice team amid nature. I find all birds here are native and animal too, but I like the place and its simplicity.
